CCTV Qualification

CCTV Operators Level 2 Qualification consists of 2 Units. Successful completion of this course enables a learner to meet one of the requirements to apply for their CCTV Licence.

Age restriction: This qualification is appropriate for learners aged 16 and over but the learner cannot apply for a licence until the age of 18.

Entry requirements:

1: No formal qualification required

2: English language assessment required at Level B2 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Learners must complete all 2 units within the qualification which must consist of:

Minimum total credit: 3

Mandatory units: 2

Guided Learning Hours: 30 hours

Total Qualification Time: 31 hours

Grading

The qualification grade is either a Pass or Fail. To achieve the qualification, the learner must pass all four mandatory units. Should a learner does not pass any unit, the qualification will not be awarded, and the learner will be given the chance for resitting in the relevant exam. Practical assessment of the CCTV equipment operation is mandatory.
