Door Supervisor Upskilling (Top-up)

Detail of Door Supervisor top-up Level 2 Qualification consists of 3 Units. Successful completion of this course enables a learner to meet one of the requirements to apply for their Door Supervisor Licence.

Age restriction: 18+

Entry requirements:

1: No formal qualification required

2: English language assessment required at Level B2 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

3: Fist Aid in Emergency Required (the centre will provide training).

Learners must complete all 3 units within the qualification which must consist of:

Minimum total credit: 4

Mandatory Units:  3

Guided Learning Hours: 17 hours

Total Qualification Time: 23 hours

1: Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry

2: Principles of Using Equipment for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry

3: Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry

Grading

The qualification grade is either a Pass or Fail. To achieve the qualification, the learner must pass all four mandatory units. Should a learner does not pass any unit, the qualification will not be awarded, and the learner will be given the chance for resitting in the relevant exam.
